FAST Athletic Scoring and Timing, Inc. is a company formed by John Melvin and Bob Lanteigne in 2008 to provide computerized scoring and timing services for athletic events in the Gulf South region.
Bob Lanteigne
Bob Lanteigne is a long-time runner and computer professional. Bob has been active in many running organizations in the Greater New Orleans area and served on the board of the New Orleans Track Club from 1998 until 2000. Since that time he has provided web development, maintenance, and hosting services to the NOTC through his company Include Software Services.
John Melvin
John Melvin has been active in the sports of running and cycling since 1980. He is a veteran of thirteen marathons (3:24:07, in 1986), numerous duathlons, triathlons and hundreds of miscellaneous races of medium to short distances. John was elected president of the Gulf Coast Running Club in 1984 and served terms for two years. John is also the owner of Timed Sports Systems Inc., a company which has provided logistical and manual scoring and timing services for races throughout the region since 1987.
